A Man Dies Several Times A Day Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

A Man Dies Several Times A Day

Rating: 5.0

A man dies several times a day
Still claims alive, to die for next day.
He talks about immortality
When morality paves its way.
He dies when he can't manage
School fees of his children to pay.
He dies again and again
When his earning doesn't permit
The purchase of new clothes for fest.
And don't dare to watch welled up
Eyes of his beloved children.
He dies again, when misfortune enforces
Him to mortgage his own house
For payment of hospital bills.
That's too for non curable fatal disease.
Happy moments like marriage of
Daughter and son, too are
Associated with burden of loan.
No doubt, he wii be physically dead soon
Still he has to die several times every day
Until ultimate destination of life is attained.

A vivid picture of a human life's journey is given by you so touchingly in this poem with nice penmanship. I feel each line is impressive. Yet I want to cite most important lines here are....No doubt, he wii be physically dead soon / Still he has to die several times every day / Until ultimate destination of life is attained. An insightful poem is well executed.10
