A Minute Gone Poem by Laquory Jones

A Minute Gone

Rating: 4.5

I have only been gone for a minute
Do you not feel my flames reigniting
Sparks from hot metal Adrenaline's
Consuming nature melted hot well
Below zero Celsius freezing glaciers
Look at what living life has cost me
Made hearts for defrosting life hasn't
Made me bitter, but I know it's through
The coldest of winters that has helped
Me grow in the mid-Decembers
This year I just might skip November

Collectives of Reality were gained that
September tis I remembered Veins
Had got dismembered, Exploding
Head syndromes I have never
Witnessed, but I had a friend with
PTSD it's sad to see while we both
Search for miracles not everyone is
Spiritual I believe I've been put
On this earth for a reason though

What for I don't know yet maybe to digest
Err I mean ingest it's anyone's guess
I'm the part of the legion top 1% in the
Region that actually feels the Cerebral
Cortex breathing caught in a vortex
The moment I gained the value of life
And all its contents inhaling a conscience
Sustaining its complexity that it had
Breathe-in a new life for me to begin
While revealing to me a new reality
