A Night Poem by Hiroshi Satow

A Night

in a small park
where nothing attracts nobody,
commuters just pass by,
and cherry blossoms are secretly in full bloom;
in the middle of the night,
under the full moon,
no one was to be found
but an old man
sitting on the bench,
looking down,
motionless,
worn out.
