A Piece Of Youth
I have stored away, inside of me
A piece of youth, that none may see
Within the pantry of my mind
To draw from at some special time
When feeling like the world’s gone wrong
It helps me with a certain song
A flashback to a better time
When laughs prevailed and all was fine
And when the gloom and doom abound
I hear the echo’s of its sound
Refreshing myself once again
With memories that are my friends
