A Pirates Way Poem by Christan Bowen

A Pirates Way

the way of the blood flowed
like a river of gold
set sail on natures current and stream
love is as high as a sun beam

could I be a man, a poet
a desire for love and show it
could I be a husband too
see what I see
and do what I do

if nature takes its course so be it
I will always up and leave it
no children in the way of me
and time to play
is the place to be

I am a pirate and im fine
love is life
and lifes divine
nobody will ever control mine
while I eat two plates
and drink of wine
