A Poem To A Snob. Poem by Norman Jin Shyr Wang

A Poem To A Snob.

Rating: 5.0

You have the riches
the poor gets none that enriches
Your lady has the beauty
and most wives are dead grotty.
You live in a bright and haughty hall
while most of us dwell in darken stall.
You send your kids to a top scoring school
while a few of ours can become such a sool.
You know well the future and destiny.
as we shilly-shally in life's cruety.

With the worm-eaten maws
and their jabbing jaws
grasping from side to side
our flesh will show their delights.
Life is short and die we must.
and naked we go with no glory lasts.
I will see you on the other shore
neither flesh nor fakery sure.
