A Poem With No Title Poem by Pen Anthony

A Poem With No Title

He had had her hooked
She always read his work
So he figured
He'd reach out to her
With a poem
These are words he jotted

I am traveller in the woods
I am a sailor in the sea
I am lost in my quest to explore
I am really considering turning back
But i fear what awaits me in the rear

To think they say
There's light at the end of the tunnel
Someone must have slept on the job
What light did they talk about
What hope have we
The tormented souls seeking refuge.

Be my lighthouse
Let me come to you
Give me hope
As the rope threatens
To embrace my neck
