A Religious Man Poem by Ray Hansell

A Religious Man

His faith in Christ
Never waivered
An only son
He always favored

His favorite passion
Was reading the bible
When it came to faith
There was no rival

He loved to disciple
And minister to people
Whether on a street corner
Or in a cathedral

The only true love
For him that existed
Was trying to help those
Who were conflicted

He'd show them the way
With his spiritual side
His love for Christ
Not once he hide

He never cared what people thought
Or the negative tings they had to say
Because he knew in his heart
He was living life the right way

Every day he could be found
Praying in the house of the Lord
For he knew this was his home
Where he always found a peaceful accord
