A Return To Philadelphia Poem by Tim Cronin

A Return To Philadelphia

Beautiful breasts 'a hollow'd
By thousands of legs dripping from the same skirt
(The local gene pool is shallow
Brotherhood means this is where we both squirt)

'Round there they come to a party
Knowing they haven't a single cigarette
Which in Delco makes you salty

Ten of two bacon stop
Music drops, young drunks leave
Delco steals the keg
And hits a scooter with it on the way home

Leaving not a single clean floor
Pizza, urine, beer, water, tears
An inch deep door to door
