My heart before you is like a pink rose
It's petals extended upward
It's buds open to absorb
The warmth of your love ….

Petals that are fragile and yet
Carry within them the most beautiful
Of God's created beauty and scents….

My love for you is like a rose
Yet a rare and genuine one
Because the love I feel for you
Is seldom discovered
Let alone-savored ….

Rare and genuine am I your rose
I bloom for you when you give
Of your emotions and heart to me …

Our love will bloom forever
If we treat it as fragile as a delicate rose

So take me your rose
And treat me kindly
And I will bring you years
Of continuous blooms of beauty
And perfume to enlighten your days …
