A Scales Call Poem by Matthew Holloway

A Scales Call

You are beautiful
A kind sort of soul
Gentle and loving
Unlike so many others
I may pass or meet
You sit without judgement
Without malice
You are beautiful
And I love you for that
Your kindness
Warmth
Your generosity
Selfless deeds
Count coins upon a scale
Forever in your favour
My own scales
A debt of doubts
Still, still I see
The true balance
Of your beauty
