A Scammer's Love Poem by Marvin Tordillos

A Scammer's Love

The first time I saw you
I know there was something in you
The looks, the feel, it's like I've met you
In the past, somewhere at one point in time I've known you

You've been duped
Caught in the paradox of love
You can only give more
Until your exhausted or broken by love

Scam! Everything is a lie
From then on love become banned
Valar morghulis! Every men must die!
Because in your heart to love is to lie

And so I invested in you
It was like I was trying to convert you
All your disappointments I'll show you
That I'm a man of my word thru and thru

And so I practice the art of lying
Trying to con you into believing
That love is not a lie
That sometimes true love comes after you've died

And so rise and resurrect your heart
Let it have a brand new start
Please let me scam you into holding my hand
For this liars hand knows there's truth in love
