What you are to me no one on earth
No one has loved they way I love
When I rose for the act to play
Your glowing face in the crowd
Down I move in the gown of Romeo
The Juliet is here in the crowd
A live act as I hold you in arms
What acts what poems what costume
The play is over as it is in real
Begun with end and the waltz
Many a tangos on the floor of life
Look I to thee with my arm extended
One last dance before you leave

the play is always over...the world will always be a stage.Nice poem!
Yes many dance in tango, so far many dances also the modern salsa in which we are now in the generation Y...life if a stage, we are the actors to portray the role of what we should be...soon in your journey the curtains will close leaving a remarkable place here on earth...with great applause and coffetties...10+++++
This reminds me of David Craig's One Last Dance so I quote that for you 'And I would give my heart Give you the world, risk losing everything I got I'd give it all to you Though I don't wanna stop I know it's the right thing to do.....yeah One last dance with you So hard to find the words to say But I can't see any other way' anjali-10
So re-writing Shakespeare is possible and, in this case, fine too. If Sadiqullah's inspiration was that one, I should read the full 'Romeo and Juliet' by Khan.
Shakespeare in a capsule...I like this, Sadi...Movement is mellifluous...language strong, yet smoothe....Solid crafting, indeed! F j R 2009
R&J has to be the most romantic story ever written, you capture it tenderly in this post. HG: -) xx
