A Simple Request Poem by Prince ....

A Simple Request

That pesky, fleshy lump of faith
pumping nonsense through your veins
is a disgrace
and your lips are faulty.
They leak stupidity
every time you crack a
rotting smile.

You are the reason why,
every morning,
I greet the sun on bended knee
begging for the chance to
grasp a blade in my hand.
Hilt gripped firmly in my fist
and shining steel lodged
in your chest with a lovely
glint of red as proof of my
success.

One chance.
That is all I ask of you.

Fighting talk Prince! Hardly a simple request either! Sounds like you really have a problem with someone that YOU should try and resolve by communicating with your irritant other. I love the pesky term! canadian is it? A chiller of a poem. Smiling at you Tai
