A Sit On The Rainbow Poem by Jim Agunga

A Sit On The Rainbow

Like a song with no singers,
I lay my heart to be read,
Like a movie with no characters,
I let me be watched,
Like a letter with no words,
I let you try figure me out,
Like a mobile phone with no screen,
He wants to be anonymous,
Like an apartment with no tenants,
The landlord counts his loss,
Like a fisherman with no net,
He heads up the hill,
Like a teacher with no chalk,
He counts on his words,
Like a student with no books,
He counts on his ears,
Like a car with no wheels,
He is well 'packed'...

It's all about the risk for;
It's a risk to have a girlfriend,
It's a risk to have a son;
It's a risk to have a daughter;
It's a risk to pour your confidences
out to anyone;

and on that note.... i am;
Glad that i live,
Glad that i know u,
Glad that the sky is blue,
Glad the the water is also blue,
Glad that we have highways,
Glad that you are reading this,
Glad that u have a reaction to this,
Glad that you have a thought to this,
Glad that your face has changed thanks to this..

All that we need to do,
Be we low or high,
Is to see that we grow
Nearer the sky....

But MINE is just to SIT on the rainBOW...
