A Song For Lover Poem by Alexander Foald

A Song For Lover

I never met a girl like you
Whose smile can melt everything down
I can feel the air turns lighter
Just thinking you feel the same way too

They say it’s like a 24-hours burnt in hell
When you sit on a hot stove for a minute
While I had to beg for another second or never
When we just coincidentally met for a moment

I never heard the birds sing a song before
But now I know what it feels like to be in love
I try to remember the things before I met you
No matter how hard I do, you just keep blocking up

Still I sing the same song for you
Will you ever grown tire of me?
We could be the couple of the year
Will you ever let me go someday?

I never met a girl like you
Whose hair smells like spring time in February
I don’t know what you think of me
But I’d be happy if you want me too
