A Sonnet; Morning Light Over The Seas Poem by James Gibbons

A Sonnet; Morning Light Over The Seas

Fresh morning wakens
overflows with soft light
distant aurora, splashing waves
soft azure, bits of whispering white.
When sea and sand delight.

Part, and see the pale horizon
blending images to far and near
an eternal expanse that time begat
the light giver shifts her gaze.

Illuminating with a golden haze
soft breezes stir harmonious hues
pale pastels envelop views
half lit scenery, streaming sights.

My heart and soul take this blend
and to my spirit doth attend.
