A stranger aboard

I sense an owe
Juggling between
Half a heart
Half a soul
Half miserable
Broken as whole
Flickering evil
Handing agony
Weapon of fire
Suppressing sadness
Is the only desire
Led by the dark
Hope has no spark
Solitude is the only friend
May loneliness
Cherish this soul and mend
A strange presence
An abandoned case
Features may exist
Within this face
I am the stranger her self!

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
