My fingers blindly played to the tune
As it rolled off the speakers
Like a red carpet laid before my sneakers.
Music is dress code immune…
And as always it added richness beyond measure
That made courage easier to find
And hardship easier to endure in the mind.
One of life’s not so simple pleasures…
The cello’s bow and strings
Wrapped up the most perfect of presents
With a note that rang with transcendence
And a tag signed, “Vivaldi”
