A Wedding Poem by Dr. Ramesh Chandra Mukhopadhyaya

A Wedding

There were two beggars

Each had a begging bowl dangking

from the hand

When they united

the two empty bowls joined together

to forge a bowl bigger than ever

That big bowl is the world

we encounter

What wedding created this

Who are the Parents of this empty

and meaningless universe

Them we imitate

abd love each other

to create empty holes

im the black hole of the existence
