A Will To Power Poem by Carlos Rodriguez

A Will To Power

Rating: 3.7

A will to power
In the strange hour
Death creeps on by
Like a sailor adoring
His blue sea
Cold stone temple
Turns warm and red
Sacred, self indused confession
In the altar of sacrifice
Love lorn wasted beauty
Seduction comes mighty
Sweet in the rueful hour
Lovers kiss passionately
Dangling in the balance
Of the Eiffel tower
Soft golden lioness
Intimidating are your eyes
Your honey colored fur
Shines like a flame to a fire
With an intense burning desire.
