A Wind Of Change Poem by David Harris

A Wind Of Change

Rating: 5.0

There is a wind of change
blowing in the air.
That might change
the tide of war,
enemies might become friends
and weapons of destruction
might rust where they fall.
The wind of change
is certain to affect us all.

Peace to come at last, the smoke is clearing and now the war is the past... Andy 10

This is a beautiful poem, David. It is a joy to read. I hope you are right about the impending change, but I've not noticed the breeze yet.

'....enemies might become friends and weapons of destruction might rust where they fall. ' if only David, there is a haunting resonance to these thoughtfully composed words.

If only your pensive piece were a prediction.... certainly the last two lines are spot on. t x
