A Window To My Mind Poem by Phil Soar

A Window To My Mind

If there was a window in my mind
I'd let the outside in
I'd leave it open constantly
Let the tales it told begin

While visitors could wander round
To see brain cells in action
I'd ask them all to tell me why
It's such a huge attraction

I do not have a high I.Q.
In fact, it's pretty vague
If I were them, I'd leave it out
And avoid it like the plague

But still the interest seems to grow
And the queues all seem to prove it
And as I age, they seem to know
To arrive before I lose it
