A Wish on Friendship Day

The month is August and the Day is 1st Sunday
The whole world is celebrating friendship day…

A friend is one who is close to your heart…
A friend is one who never wants you to get apart…

A friend is one who will love to share your boat when it’s loaded with sorrow…
A friend is one who will be ready to fly to you if needed, like a sparrow…

Friend will never mind if you forget to whish ” happy birth day”
Rather, friend will mind, having problem, if you hesitate to say…

Age has never been a barrier, can be from seven to seventy seven….
I wish to be with all my friends after my death, no mater in hell or heaven….

I like the way this is worded to almost give off an existential 'pop! that reminds us that everbody has a hungry heart and that good friends had better stick together. (Report) Reply

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
