A Wisp Of Bewitching Cloud(Wū Shān Yī Duàn Yún) Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

A Wisp Of Bewitching Cloud(Wū Shān Yī Duàn Yún)

巫山一段云

袅袅江边柳,
飘飘浅淡云。
水声山色翠湖滨,
慢看物华新。

流絮依天幕,
鹇鸾喜泽群。
静心谈笑伴贤君,
赏画度晨昏。

Tune: A Wisp of Bewitching Cloud

Slender, slender willows by the river sway- to and fro,
Floating, floating clouds in the sky- lightly go.
Waters clear splash, jasper-like, with mounts in th' distance,
And everything seems fresh in leisurely elegance.

High up in the skies, puffy clouds wander,
To moors the lofty birds take flight- in cluster.
Peaceful and smiling, my beloved and I walk and talk,
Both enchanted by the scenery so picturesque.

lofty birds? tall birds, like storks, cranes, herons? ? i KNOW not ostriches nor MOAS [for more than one reason]! ! yes, nature and beauty and joy often go together. like when a hunter goes into nature, sees a beauty-ful DEER, and becomes full of joy upon killing it! ! : ( bri ;)

I can not recognize them, mostly white birds... Perhaps storks, cranes, herons :)
