A Woman Poem by Kevin J. Muricio

A Woman

Rating: 5.0

I always feel pain, when a woman has to cry
Sometimes I wish, I could make her tears dry
But I always fear, getting misunderstood
Not by the woman, but by the men of the hood
Women feel pain, enduring an abusive marriage
And we never give thanks, to the nine-month carriage
A woman makes a home, a man makes a house
But then we say, she's the weaker spouse

When you were young, she gave you the shoulder
But you always forget, with your getting older
Young girls are naïve, but we always lure
Then when we want to marry, we want them pure
It takes just soil, to be a man
But it takes a bone, to be a woman
A woman; the only way into the world
So instead of insults, give her a praising word
