A World Without Gravity Poem by Daya Nandan

A World Without Gravity

What would an anchor be worth?
If gravity no longer existed on Earth,
What would become of the majestic oceans and seas,
What would become of the beautiful flowers and trees,

How would sparkling streams of rivers flow?
What would happen to the Earth that we love and know,
The world would be a different place for all,
An Earth without chilling snow or cooling rainfall,

A world without gravity to hold us down,
A world without gravity to keep us rooted to the ground,
But even such a harsh world will not change my feelings so true,
For even in a world without gravity, i would still fall for you,
