Abigail Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Abigail

Abigail

Like prism in the light
We can change, be alight
With each word, each signal.

"Eglinton, McDonald's! "
Came to APPS as start
Below ten was price.

"A trip out of mind! "
An hour of drive eight dollars?
And on me the fuel and expense?

My plan sure differs;
"Study and gather
The info, Script
And then film…"

Money-wise unhappy
I was changed simply.

The order was twins
Small, light for two kids.

I felt sad for judgement
"A mother, two infants
Cannot go to purchase…"

Smiling and happy to be help
I drove for long and finally I got there.

I was wrong once again
Two they were, not infants
Just grown two young girls
Their chests had two walnuts
First, second of teens-age…

After pack, delivered
I found me a corner
Laughed at me in silence:
"Always wrong in judgement! "
