'Aboiement' - Poem by Shania K. Younce

Oh, the pain of thy dog.
The crackling and crumbling.
The snapping and popping.
The loudness in hearing.
The sharpness in forgetting.
The loving embrace that did not last a stand.
Oh, the dog named aboiement did know all these things.
