Abu Ahmad Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Abu Ahmad

Abu Ahmad

Finally he and I and tattoo
Arabic betrayer on his arm,
"Father am to Ahmad."

And sure I sympathized
Lonely he, all alone
Face desert; Falluja
And beaten by the sand.

Forever in my eyes, in my sight, in my heart
Unaware, displaced, immigrant, strange,
They are hard and I feel burn inside.
