Across The Azure Fields Poem by Stephanie Dower

Across The Azure Fields

Rating: 4.0

She dances in the sky,
She spirals above the cloud.
Twirling in the lightning,
In her raindropp shroud.
Fluid motion and shining pearls,
Cascading down to earth.
Soaring high within the heavens,
She laughs within her mirth.
The sky then opens wide,
To reveal his gleaming sight.
A smile and a laugh of his own,
And so begins the flight.
For I arrive on horseback,
Atop my steed of cirrus.
The glee and the fading thunder,
Ofcourse you would hear us.
I hold the bow, I hold it steady,
I fire the arrow across the skies.
Shooting across the azure fields.
I trails the spectrum as it flies.
