Across The Room Poem by Phil Soar

Across The Room

I blew a kiss across the room
And hoped she would respond
After all, she'd smiled at me
So I thought she must be fond
Of flirting with me instantly
The moment that she looked
And figured that instinctively
That I was almost hooked
So when she flashed her bright blue eyes
And looked across at me
About that time I realised
She'd seen the best of me
My trouser zip was open
And my 'friend' was poking out
She realised I liked her
And there wasn't any doubt!
