Acts And Words Ii Poem by Laa Finita

Acts And Words Ii

Rating: 2.7

Today, I decided for one of the dilemma's paths.
But then I remebered some Mr. James T. Adair's words, he once wrote to me. His spirit is in this poem.

ACTS OR WORDS? II

As for the dilemma that was haunting me,
I chose ACTING: magic mist, hiding my lack of strength.
I wrote on a piece of paper: my mind and heart,
and I handed it to him, holding my breath.
He chose WORDS, serious, aliens, foreigns for him.

I know now, that, my words, though heart-felt,
would have been blurry, tearful in my mouth,
and not clear, or sutil, as flowing from a swan.

But still....true love, against all odds,
masters the arts of kindly waiting without expecting,
and swimmnig in the Life River, letting himself flows,
having touching other lives, and.... who knows?
