Acts Of Concision Poem by Raymond Farrell

Acts Of Concision

We live
In the age
Of sound bites
Every attempt is made
To compress information
Making sure it fits
Between commercial ads
Or within defined time slots
That have a designated length
For commercial reasons
These actions allow
Form to dominate substance
And have led
To a message
That is concise
But lacking
The necessary ingredients
To make it reliable
And informative
In any meaningful way.
