Again Poem by Zane Gilley

Again

Fires of Olympia
dormant
by smoky torrents
of acridity.

The steamy rings
hiss of tears
throwing up clouds
of nuclear ash.

Time's seasonings renew
the grey forgettings
of leached grounds.

Will smoulders
within the pyre,
the cardinal thrust
of living desire.
