Aging Poem by Houda Boukassoula

Aging

Rating: 3.0

Growing older naturally
Is what I chose decently
As swaying between generations
Has never been my cup of tea
I tried several haircuts and colorations
To grey hair I see no objection
Every wrinkle on my face you see
Recalls a lesson life has taught me
Getting rid of them is a nightmare
Part of my wisdom is wrinkles and grey hair
Fighting aging means clutching the past
Beauty from within will forever last
