Alertness Is The Price Of Freedom
We men being homo sapiens, are born
With genes of dominance on the weak.
Saga of human civilization have nothing but been
Dominance, oppression, suppression, rebellions
Revolutions and wars by the powerful on the weak.
Oppression is more pronounced when the rulers are
Psychopaths, narcissists, greedy and power hungry.
So beware!
Injustice of any form, If tolerated would usher in
Reign of exploitation, regression and suppression of dissent.
Alertness is the price to keep in check the authoritarian
Syndromes among the ruling class.
Glory of governance, therefore, rests on respect for
Dissent and freedom of speech.
Like death which is just with all; be it king, or ruled,
, rich or poor; all existing laws must be based on universal
Principles of justice and equal opportunity for all.
A real hallmarks of true democracy.
No wonder President Abraham Lincoln's famous quote
"Government of the people, by the people, for the people"
Are the last words on democracy.
