Alexander And Gilgamesh Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Alexander And Gilgamesh

Alexander and Gilgamesh

Socrates the great, tutored Alexander.
History is painting, very large is canvas
Stories amusing, left and right, mostly lies.

Mankind is brutal, Cain-Abel best of all
Story is great.
Even if I am far, no belief in that book.

He, hunter took the rock…
Hit farmer in the head…
Mover has, most of times, shed blood.

Not this time.
Hyperbole, archaic, sinus-like has gone round
Once is down, once at top.

Syria, Macedonia in mirror on the wall
“Which one is best of all? ”
Both have been the looter, invaders
Now are poor, are looted, invaded.

When wolf is hungry, tooth sharper
No mercy.
Look at the Syrians’ peeled skin.

Do not kill as did Cain if aren’t the Abel.
