All I Love You Is Not Really Love Poem by Felix Emeka George

All I Love You Is Not Really Love

You know the dangerous enemy
Is not a far flung hateful person
who looks at from a distance while wishing you bad.
The most dangerous enemy is the one close by
who hears your plans and knows your weakness
The one who smiles at you calling you friend,
while he spawns a trap to ruin you.
The one who sets you on stage and
gives words to your mouth while playing other roles
to cast you in a light of aspersions.
The one who checks his maps and plans
to know how close to your ruin he has brought you
While yelling to your hearing; i love you dear friend
And who rejoices exceedingly when he walks in on far flung strangers
and realizes they hate you as much as he does.
So he hands them the dagger and gives them the map
Content that no one will trace your ruin to him.
But, alas! karma doesn't sleep and doesn't relent.
