All The Same Poem by Thomas Plotz

All The Same

Once again I have retraced my steps,
On the same path plait, of weaving crisscrossed trail,

Same tale told, as in (Winter Walk) , and
Same place as (Hobble To Cobble)
Same trail, same path, same route, same lane
Same journey to serenity, my slice of splendor,
All the Same…

The difference now is just the name, of the season,
For this winter was warm, for I and others have worn shorts,
Gone without jackets, in January some days…

Walked down the gravel to the Brook,
Listened to the water babble; then spill,
What a thrill, seeing the water; fall,

Today I walked a little further,
Resting from time to time,
As I put together a rhyme, in my mind

Then took the stairs down to the water's edge
Gazing with awe, sitting in shade, looking into sun lit waters gleam
Memorizing me into a daydream…

After a while, I stood, calling out your name; saying I love you,
I love my family's love….

Turned returning,
Once again I have retraced my steps,
On the same path plait, of weaving crisscrossed trail,
Once again,
All the same…
