Alone With You Poem by tomisin eshton

Alone With You

Rating: 3.5

Alone with you
Nails of emotions drills its way through.
Can help but to fight down the urge to tell,
pretence could be bought so I sell.

Alone with you
The feelings of purity sinks in like dew
But like sin I feel the guilt
And like debt I feel the heat.

Thou art crowned with truth
And alone with you
It shakes me off my hinges
And compels me to fave my feelings.

Alone with you
I just pray for you to disappear,
For I can't tell if its fair or fear,
But deep down what I feel is
true.

A thousand curse on my soul
For by its growl am I made weak
And in the language the heart understands,
my lips speaks.

Here I am alone with you
My hat tipped, heart tripped
And to all this my soul sings
All for been alone with you
