As the sun falls upon the tree tops
So beautifully it sets
All the words I could have said
But still I've no regrets
The yellow star that burns with fire
Has no comparison in hue
To the light I saw inside your soul
On my seas so brightly blue
For just a moment all the world seemed right
But it now seems to be lost
Burning under you, for just a moment,
Was worth the searing cost
This pain that grows inside my chest
Tell's me that I'm still alive
Although I knew all along I was dreaming
I cast it all aside
For love is wondrous, but the way is wrought
With twists and turns I know
I'll miss your laugh and your hand in mine
And how brightly shone your glow
