Always A Generation Gap Poem by Paul Warren

Always A Generation Gap

Rating: 5.0

The generations are not only separated by time
It's the pulse that they live at in their own rythms
Social media rules their lives in what it records
Where friendship and likes have their own rewards

With each generation there develops a gap
Which separates parents and children in the final rap
The pace of human knowledge doubling each five years
Means the difference is tangible and can result in fears.

The generation gap is always there and by the given yardstick this gap will go on increasing with every new generation. This as well as the obsessions of the present generation has been nice put across. Thanks a lot, Paul.
