Amazing Is All Of Them That I Can Say Poem by Francis Duggan

Amazing is all of them that I can say
The characters that I do meet every day
A few of them even do live on our street
A pleasure to know and a pleasure to meet
Amongst the town's wealthy them one cannot name
And their's is a limited local fame
Outside of their neighbourhood all but unknown
Still they are unique in a class of their own
The gray haired nice old bloke and his lovely old wife
They have lived locally for most of their life
They never do seem short of something to say
And they greet everyone with a smile and good day
Just two of the characters I often do see
And a few others like them do live locally.
