Facing still another dreaded day?
Overcome by creeping haunting dismay?
Reality slowly becoming more depressing?
Each survivable day its own contradictory blessing?
Combat compassion for the thousands they faced?
Logical resulting sympathy for the many innocent inhabitants misplaced?
Overwhelmed eventually by suicide tendencies silently built?
Shattering homes and families left each with unspoken guilt?
Unquestioning conviction -
Really the most intense internal confliction -
Effects on each constable with every foreclosed home eviction?
