American Poet Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

American Poet

American poet

If Ginsberg writes of Jack
-or other, as "Master"

Then begging:
- "Shove penis inside me
-want to feel its hardness,
-then rotate its thick head,
-of which is no threat,
-nor dread! "

Talks of it as "friend" …

If he gives the sizes
-of the cock, and anus

If writes "Howl"
-breath-long being lines

He is known as poet
-and wins the Pulitzer

But those who write of care
-or feelings; having sense
-absorbing others' pains
-when droned countries
-Africans and Muslims

They are just,
- "the worthless"! ! !

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Richard Wlodarski 23 October 2017

Ginsberg and Kerouac were both tortured souls. For both of them to have accomplished as much as they had, speaks volumes. Ginsberg's Howl is far more than just crude sexual overtones. It's an anthem. For not just one generation. But two! And both writers absorbed others' pains far more than the average person. And had the guts to write about it! ! !

I am grateful for such a beautiful comment. Richard...many do not know of the other side of the poet and poets and you are one of the few to know them.
