A heightened figure we saw
It stood erect before us
As if it emerged from heaven
To placate some souls perturbed.

Raised it its eyes
Displayed such a godly look
Some hearts throbbed
Some heavy breath took.

It began to hurl words
Filled with sacred cites
Dead silence engulfed us all
It gave us celestial frights.

For anything it said
It made a reference to the scripture
None felt the tiniest doubt that
The divinity surely sent to earth the creature

"The world is a paddy field"
To the blank gazes, the mighty figure divulged
"We are only meant to plough,
Not before hereafter to have the reward."

Days went by, nights awoke
The thirsty audience is driven to throng
For that entity desired to be heard
All listened avidly, none felt any wrong.
