From the midday past due compunction
To the foot that kicks with pride
Stop harassing Jurassic losers, the bearers of out of date suggestions
Cover your young shield with animal fascination
And pick on those who feel they owe you a bullying

Sly and slender and short of money again
No connection between cash and an energy that never runs out
The apex of life kissing discovery sustaining energy
One day before dawn on a cold winter morning, the energy will run out
The energy will be part of a combover that won't reach the other side of your head

But for now a quick recovery for tribalism and adolescence
Wooing you with their ignorance of defeat
Where shame has not taken hold come daydreams of the limitless
For the yearning to be able to ask for anything
Still young enough to think they might get it
