An Icy Kiss Poem by Hades Pandemonium

An Icy Kiss

I felt a shiver down my spine,
When I looked into your eyes,
So blue and empty...
Just one step closer, you come nearer
And take your hand in mine, so cold...
A winter's breeze surrounds us
As you lower your face and plant an icy kiss on my lips.
In that moment, the blood freezes in my vains,
My mind and body are paralyzed by your chilling touch,
I feel so cold...
A tear tries to escape my eye, but the arctic atmosphere
Makes it impossible to make its journey down my cheek,
And it turns into a small icicle.
As cold and immobile as a corpse I am,
You don't seem to care.
I could never thaw your frozen heart,
I could never bring any light into your soul.
Completely absorbed in your bitter aura,
I feel nothing but cold, just cold...
