An Indifferent Hand Poem by Terence George Craddock

An Indifferent Hand

Rating: 5.0

indifference is the seed of death
we may cut off our own hand
to escape the handcuff or chain
which binds our hand

cut off our own foot
to escape the leg iron
grip of trap steal death
cutting into our ankle

but we cannot cut
out our beating heart
with indifference
